Access

Access-level definitions options include open (freely available), controlled (may include restrictions such as on use), or registered (requires registration to access).

Controlled Access

The repository may include restrictions such as for access or use

Open Access

Registered Access

Varied Access

The repository contains data that varies at the record level

Health Condition

The health condition(s) /infectious disease(s) which are the focus of the work (like COVID-19, coronavirus).

Host Species

Species / host organism from which the dataset has been collected.

License

A license document that applies to this work, typically indicated by URL.

Measurement Technique

A technique or technology used in a dataset corresponding to the method used for measuring the corresponding variable(s) (described using variableMeasured). For example, if variableMeasured is molecule concentration, measurementTechnique could be: "mass spectrometry" or "nmr spectroscopy" or "colorimetry" or "immunofluorescence".

Pathogen Species

Infectious agent(s) / pathogen(s) which are the focus of the work (like SARS-CoV-2).

Research Domain

Categorical information about the content of a resource.

The period of time covered within the dataset.

Topic of the work. This topic may be assigned by a human curator or through automated algorithms.

Type

Type is a Portal-specific classification that indicates how repository content is organized and displayed within the Portal.

Dataset Repository

A repository which holds Dataset records. Dataset metadata records are mapped and directly ingested into the Discovery Portal on a one-to-one basis.

Resource Catalog

A manually curated record about the repository/resource/portal etc. itself. Repositories displayed only as Resource Catalogs in the Discovery Portal are not sources of record ingest at this time.
